Sunday at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City the Dance with Me Studios presented a summer dance show immediately following a day of dance competitions for their students. The event was a summer invitational appropriately called, “All The Right Moves.”

In a Dancing with The Stars studded event, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley were the featured performers in a night that captured the essence of why ballroom dancing is good for the body and for the soul.

There was a giant conga line, a fair amount of fringe and lots of laughs. Tony and Maks’ bromance is evident and they did a great job of hosting the night along – if they’re not busy on Oscar night, someone should book them!

Maks and Kirstie danced the sassy, sexy, crowd-pleaser cha-cha that they performed as their very first dance on season 12 of Dancing with the Stars. Amazeballs! World champions, Val Chmerkovskiy and Daria Chesnokova blew everyone away as usual! Tony Dovolani and his partner, Elena Grinenko, rumba’d. And fellow DWTS contestant, Petra Nemcova, was cheering everyone on. Only Wendy Williams was noticeably absent. Also featured were brother and sister duo from this season’s new Dancing with The Stars Troupe, Nicole and Teddy Volynets. And several of the terrifically talented Dance with Me instructors also performed!
